Wolverhampton Wanderers have seen two of their fixtures altered as a domino effect of the changes. Their Carabao Cup third-round match against Everton was confirmed for September 16, taking the slot originally meant for Liverpool versus Spurs. Also, Wolves' Championship fixture against Portsmouth at Molineux has been pushed back from September 16 to October 20. "UEFA regularly receives scheduling requests from associations, leagues and clubs and always does its best to accommodate reasonable requests wherever possible," a spokesperson said.
