Liverpool FC have agreed a record-breaking new shirt sponsorship deal with Turkish Airlines. The five-year agreement, worth approximately £300 million, will begin in June 2027 and marks the end of a 17-year partnership with Standard Chartered.

The deal is valued at around £60 million per season. This makes it the most lucrative 'front of shirt only' sponsorship arrangement in Premier League history. Turkish Airlines becomes just the sixth company to feature on the front of Liverpool's famous red shirt.

The partnership will generate more than £60 million annually for the club. This significant financial injection arrives as Liverpool currently sit sixth in the Premier League, with five points from their opening three games. Their record stands at one win and two draws, with a goal difference of +2 after scoring six and conceding four.

Ben Latty, Liverpool FC's Chief Commercial Officer, expressed the club's enthusiasm. "This is a milestone announcement for us and we are delighted to welcome Turkish Airlines as our main club partner from June 2027," he said. The deal will see the airline's branding appear on the front of Liverpool's men's, women's, and Academy match kits.

The agreement concludes a 17-year front-of-shirt relationship with Standard Chartered. The bank will, however, continue its association with Liverpool as a global partner from next season. An existing regional deal with Japan Airlines, which is due to expire in May 2027, remains unchanged for now.

Ahmet Olmustur, Turkish Airlines CEO, highlighted the appeal of partnering with Liverpool. "Liverpool Football Club is one of the world's most recognised and respected football clubs, with an exceptional heritage and a truly global community of supporters," he stated. The club's current league position sees them four points behind early leaders Manchester City.

This major commercial news comes as Arne Slot's team prepares for their next Premier League fixture. They host Fulham at Anfield on September 12th. Fulham currently occupy 19th place in the table, making it a key opportunity for Liverpool to build momentum. Fans can track the team's progress via the official fixtures schedule.

The new financial deal provides long-term stability as the club handles the current campaign. With a recent form of WDD, the focus now shifts to converting draws into wins. The squad, which you can review in detail on our squad page, will aim to close the gap at the top. The five-year sponsorship with Turkish Airlines commences in the summer of 2027.
