Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly demanding £175m for attacking duo Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye, who are linked with Liverpool. The French champions have signed new wingers this summer, including Mika Godts from Ajax and Ferran Torres from Barcelona, making Barcola and Mbaye surplus to requirements.
Barcola and Mbaye were left out of PSG's squad for their French Super Cup defeat to Lens and their Ligue 1 opener against Rennes. Barcola, who scored 13 goals and provided seven assists last season, is reportedly keen to join Liverpool, but PSG's valuation of £130m is a sticking point. An offer between £111m and £128m could potentially seal the deal, according to French media reports.
Mbaye, on the other hand, is a more affordable option for Liverpool, with reports suggesting he could fetch between £30m and £45m. The 18-year-old has already agreed on financial terms and a five-year deal with the Reds.
Both players would provide a much-needed attacking boost for Liverpool, which is looking to replace Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool's new manager, Andoni Iraola, has expressed the need for more wingers, stating: 'In terms of what we need, there are certain situations that, for me, are clear, especially on the wing because we do not have enough players able to play in those positions.'
