Liverpool F.C. Have completed their 2026-27 kit collection with the launch of a new third strip. The club unveiled the design on Tuesday, the same day as the draw for the UEFA Champions League league phase.
The shirt is built on a black base with a maroon graphic overlay. Its abstract pattern is intended to mimic the visual effect of flags waved by supporters during European nights. Detailing, including the club crest and logos, is finished in a metallic matte silver designed to glint under modern stadium LED lighting.
While the club's home and away kits for the new season revisit classic retro designs, this third jersey is a completely new creation. It has been presented as a tribute to the club's travelling support across decades of continental competition.
The design process focused specifically on how the materials would interact with artificial light during evening matches.
Liverpool's first European trophy was the UEFA Cup in 1973. Their most recent continental success was the Champions League final victory over Tottenham Hotspur in 2019. The new kit will be worn for the first time in a competitive match this season.
